In the Bull Pen
Displayed here are issues in the making process. First inked, then painted, and after the certificates are produced, the issue goes in the Bullpen. Once at least three are in the Pen, they are all released to collectors.
Kendal doesn't release an issue to collectors immediately after it's painted. As they're completed, one-by-one the issues are placed here in the Bull Pen. Once a few are painted, resting in the pen, then together they are released to cover collectors across America. This is a good time to stake your claim to a variety, or one of the color studies. The artist's proofs are all collected out in the first days issues, though are usually available with topical event issues.
