Displayed here are freshly painted issues, poised to be released to collectors. When a few issues are in the pen, they'll be made available for collecting.
Kendal doesn't release an issue to collectors immediately after it's painted. As they're completed, one-by-one the issues are placed here in the Bull Pen. Once a few are painted, resting in the pen, then together they are released to cover collectors across America. This is a good time to stake your claim to a variety, or one of the color studies. The artist's proofs are all collected out in the first days issues, though are usually available with topical event issues. If you'd like to be contacted when new issues appear in the Bull Pen,

An issue size of 125 in the main lot and 30 artist's proofs painted, this topical event issue documents the passing of one of America's most-loved baseball players of all times, Yogi Berra. As illustrated, the main lot has affixed the Lou Gehrig stamp, with the artist's proof carrying the Babe Ruth stamp. I've divided up 15 Yogi-ism's among the 30 APs, something I'm not sure I've done before, placing various text in an issue. As always, every cover in this issue has been hand-painted, signed and numbered by my hand. These are sleeved with the newly designed Cert-Plus certificates/mini-newsletters.

Today
Depicting Arnold Palmer during his strongest years, this topical event issue documents the passing of America's most-loved pro golfer. This issue is accompanied by the new Certificate Plus, and as always, hand-painted, signed and numbered by my hand. Note the new issue size of 125. You'll see this on most issues in the future. Smaller issues will take less time to paint, allowing me to paint issues more often. As soon as the Yogi Berra issue is complete and shows up in the Bull Pen, I'll be releasing these two issues to Bevil collectors.
