I'll be painting the Greetings From New Hampshire issue into early next week.
I'm discovering when the rendering is made up of small pieces of subject matter, instead of a large portrait or object, I must thicken the lineart to maintain a
strong crisp image. The thick linework also allows me to increase the brightness and saturation of the colors. Until I had taken these measures, the painted cover was weak and washed out. I like this cover, and I also like the story behind the cover.
